My first roadtrip was to Holland, MI - yeah, my parents were too cheap (or too cautious!) and picked a location that was a 2.5 hour drive from home. I love being in the car - the world around me moves so fast, it's very exciting! Until it gets very overwhelming, then I just fall asleep. What I don't like is when Daddy stops the car like at a red light or a stop sign or for traffic. So I let him know my displeasure... crying really works.
When I woke up again, I saw Lakshmi paati was very excited because of some flowers. They looked pretty and we kept stopping to take photos. I thought amma was only fascinated with taking photos of me, but today I found out that she just likes to take photos... period. I was annoyed at first, but then it was so sunny and beautiful and I got to be with appa, so I felt better.
I also discovered a new play area when my parents changed my diaper today. They called it the "car trunk" but I call it my cave - and I had the most awesome adventure kicking my hands and feet in the cave. I haven't been there since but I hope my parents will let me go there more often. Will you tell them?
